Meet Our Pack
Our Animals, Our Process

Nature’s perfect portrait. No studio could ever replicate the warmth of a Montana sunset on a loyal companion.

A noble breed deserves a noble look. Looking every bit the dapper gentleman in his Sunday best.

A quick look back to ensure the pack stays together. Leonidas takes his 'King' duties seriously.

Leonidas
The Hound That Started It All
Our story begins with Leonidas, the very first Irish Wolfhound to capture our hearts. We chose his name to honor the bravery and legendary warrior spirit of Leonidas, King of Sparta, but we soon discovered that his strength was matched only by his incredible gentleness. He was the hound that started it all, teaching us the true meaning of devotion and the noble character of this ancient breed. It is his courage and quiet dignity that serve as the foundation of our program and the inspiration for our name; he isn't just a pet, he is the heartbeat behind everything we do.
Thasina "Tessi"
The Strength of the Spirit
Two years after Leonidas opened our hearts to the breed, we welcomed Thasina into our family. Named after Thasina Mani (Moving Robe Woman), the legendary Lakota woman who fought with immense courage at the Battle of the Little Bighorn, she has truly lived up to the bravery of her namesake. While Leonidas brought us the noble presence of a King, Thasina brought us the fierce, unwavering spirit of a warrior. That spirit was tested early on when a hip injury as a puppy left her with a permanent limp, but it never slowed her heart or her stride. Today, she is as strong and resilient as she is graceful, her gait serving as a daily reminder that a giant’s true strength isn't found in perfection, but in the courage to keep moving forward. Together with Leonidas, she has shaped our understanding of this breed’s incredible depth, proving that the heart of a Wolfhound is built on both power and an unbreakable devotion to life.

That 'Are you coming?' look. Tessi has a way of checking in that makes you feel like the most important person on the mountain.

Nevada winters suit her. There’s something so steady about her silhouette against the high desert white.

The official face of a Nevada winter. You haven't truly lived until you've had a face full of snow-crusted Wolfhound kisses.

Inferno "Fern" Caliente
Gentle Fern With a Fiery Soul
Inferno “Fern” Caliente is our fiery little lovebug—an adventurer at full sprint and a snuggler at full weight. She bounds through life with a fun‑loving spark, always the first to investigate, explore, and turn any moment into excitement. But when it’s time to rest, Fern becomes a 100‑pound lap dog with zero awareness of her size, happily pressing her whole body against you and curling into your lap as if she were made for cuddles. Her mix of bold energy, goofy sweetness, and overflowing affection makes her unforgettable, and those same qualities are exactly what she will pass on as the Dam of our program.
Argus "Gus"
Gentle Guardian Who Sees It All
Argus “Gus” has joined our home with a quiet grace that has quickly endeared him to us. At just nine months old, he carries a mellow sweetness that softens every room he enters. Though shy at first, he has begun to unfold beautifully, discovering the comforts of indoor life after spending his early months outdoors. Plush dog beds have become his favorite retreat, and the toy box—his newfound treasure chest—keeps our floors delightfully scattered with his discoveries. True to his namesake, Argus Panoptes, he watches over the house with calm attentiveness, alert but never anxious. His gentleness with the cats and his curiosity for every new experience reveal a thoughtful, tender soul. Gus may be new to our family, but his steady presence and growing confidence already hint at the remarkable sire he will become in the years ahead.

Biscuit
The Brave Adventurer
Though she may not share the sighthound silhouette of her packmates, Biscuit is every bit a Spartan Wolfhound at heart. A Great Pyrenees mix with a soul as big as her stature. She came to us as a rescue, carrying a heavy burden of fear for the world around her. Once terrified of men, vehicles, and the unknown, she has undergone a remarkable transformation into a confident and courageous leader. Today, Biscuit is the first to leap into the truck for an adventure and the steady guide leading the pack on every hike. While she still maintains a healthy (and vocal) skepticism of bicycles, she has become the ultimate welcoming committee, happily greeting fellow adventurers on the trail. At home, she takes her role as the pack's guardian seriously, alerting us to every visitor with the watchful eye of a true livestock dog, only to transition instantly into the most gentle, affectionate companion once the guest is inside. She is a testament to the power of a pack's love and the true definition of an honorary wolfhound.
